Music's Gotta Live with John Cafferty

Music’s gotta live man, it’s gotta breathe. So say’s the rocking philosopher, Eddie Wilson. By now, most of us know that the voice behind the enigmatic singer/songwriter is none other than John Cafferty. I recently sat down and talked with JC about the history of music and how he went from humble beginnings, to the formation of the Beaver Brown Band, and the development of both Eddie and the Cruiser movies. Along the way we find a time machine and travel to a world of old, where rock-n-roll lives forever and legends are cutting their teeth on the songs they grew up listening to. All in all, we learn how one man’s almost religious search in music isn’t so different than that of most other hungry artist out there. As a bonus, we find out that the finished, polished productions aren’t always done the way you think they are. From playing in front of hundreds of thousands of people to playing in the local bars, JC lets us know that it’s been one heck of a ride and that he is very grateful for every single second of it. If you are a student of the game, take notes, because JC passes the knowledge of living the American Music Dream to you. So, paraphrasing Mr. Cafferty, let’s slip to the Dark Side and cross that line… From the nest…
